I know it doesn’t look like a bundt cake, but this one haunted me ever since Branka published it on her site. I don’t have a bundt cake pan, so I improvised
The recipe comes from Crave: A Passion for Chocolate and the genius shape from YOYO. I will not write about the shaping as she has step-by-step photos on her blog. The only thing I changed was that I’ve cut the dough into 3, instead of 4 stripes, as my bundts were so small. They are soo delicious. And the kids from the neighborhood loved them. And me, for making them
Muffin Bundt Cakes
500 g flour
1/2 tsp salt
60 g caster sugar
20 g dry yeast
2 large eggs
100 g melted butter
310 ml warm milk
100 g melted dark chocolate
Sift flour and salt. Add caster sugar, yeast, slightly beaten eggs and butter. Start adding milk a little by little. Add enough to be able to knead soft dough. I added less than the amount from the recipe, about 200 ml. Leave covered to double it’s size.
Divide dough into 12 equal parts. Shape using YOYO’s method and bake in a preheated oven on 200°C.
Note: This is my entry for Ajme, koliko nas je!, a monthly event created by Monsoon and hosted this month by Sanela with chocolate as a theme.
