Alice In Wonderland

Alice was sitting on the bank with her sister, when she saw a white rabbit. He was talking, and he had a watch?! So, she ran after him through his hole.

It was a deep hole, and she fell, and fell, until she hit the bottom. She looked around and saw a little door, but she was too big to go through them.

Drink Me

She looked again, and she saw a table with a golden key and a tiny bottle. It had a label that said DRINK ME, so she did. It had, in fact, a sort of mixed flavor of cherry-tart, custard, pine-apple, roast turkey, toffee, and hot buttered toast. And it shrinked her enough to go through the door. She wandered through all kinds of landscapes, when she finally realized she wanted to grow to her real size and go home.

Advice from a Caterpillar

Finally, she met a blue caterpillar with hookah. He was sitting on a giant mushroom and offered her advice.

Advice from a Caterpillar

“One side will make you grow taller, and the other side will make you grow shorter”, he said. And she continued her journey.

A Mad Tea-Party

There was a table set out under a tree in front of the house, and the March Hare and the Hatter were having tea at it: a Dormouse was sitting between them, fast asleep, and the other two were using it as a cushion, resting their elbows on it, and talking over its head. Alice stayed a while, but finally left: “It’s the stupidest tea-party I ever was at in all my life!”

Later she met the Queen of Hearts, played some croquet with her and at the end, got her real mad.

Queen of Hearts

She ended up on a trial and got sentenced: “Off with her head!” the Queen shouted at the top of her voice. Her soldiers rushed to her but Alice had grown to her full size by this time.

“Who cares for you?” said Alice, “You’re nothing but a pack of cards!”

At this the whole pack rose up into the air, and came flying down upon her: she gave a little scream, half of fright and half of anger, and tried to beat them off, and found herself lying on the bank, with her head in the lap of her sister, who was gently brushing away some dead leaves that had fluttered down from the trees upon her face.

“Wake up, Alice dear!” said her sister; “Why, what a long sleep you’ve had!”

I LOVE IT! It’s one of my favourite story by Lewis Caroll! One question though… Did you chased away the Cheshire Cat? I think he must been somewhere chasing some field mice… :-)Love the Queen of Heart’s crown and cards! 2 Thumbs up from me for such a lovely idea!

OH, so cool!! Like madcapcupcake, I have a serious penchant for Alice. Like, I did lots of research just for fun and have a 15-page thesis comparing the book to the Christian Genesis story, and my surprise 16th birthday party was Mad Tea Party themed . . . so you can see where this photo set really speaks to me. =)
