Brigadeiro – the famous truffle, adored throughout Brazil and Portugal and so ridiculously easy to prepare…
Brigadeiros
200 g sweetened condensed milk
1 Tbsp butter
50 g dark chocolate
lots of chocolate sprinkles
Before you begin, make sure you watch the video on this post.
Heat condensed milk. Add chocolate broken into pieces. Stir until the chocolate melts and combines with milk. Finally, stir in butter. Transfer the mass onto a plate and leave it to harden a bit. You can also put it in the fridge for about an hour.
To roll the truffles take a small amount of mass with a teaspoon and roll it between your palms. It is quite sticky and it will help if you wet your hands a bit. Then roll each truffle into chocolate sprinkles and place into a small paper cup.
The amount you get from this recipe is rather small. The whole batch was gone in a blink of an eye, so I suggest make it double or even triple
