I was always good with modeling clay at school. And I’ve been drooling over the cute creations of some of the gurus of cake decorating, but somehow never tried it myself. This is my first time with marzipan and I still need a lot of practice but, for the first time, I guess it’s fine.
The cupcakes are from Vera. One of the best I tried. And they are topped with Chockylit’s Valrhona Ganache. The idea for the sneakers is from Cakecentral’s user stellastarchild, and here is the template that I used, I just resized it to 291×200.
