This is one of the cakes I make the most often, but still, haven’t published the recipe on my blog yet. Flourless, but a serious cake that can satisfy even the biggest chocolate lover. It is flavored with a liqueur, and I use my homemade orange liqueur, but you can use any other you like, rum for example. The cake will rise nicely in the oven but the moment you take it out it will sink. That is fine, and that is how it should be Around the edge of the pan you’ll have a nice higher crust, and the center will be soft. It is also nice to bake two smaller cakes and share it with a loved one while still warm. With a spoon, straight from the pan. And save the other one for later
Ideal for bruschetta, slightly toasted in the oven, with a cheese based spread. Also great with a spicy cooked meal or a peace of roast served with gravy. To some, bread with dried fruit and almonds isn’t a new thing, but to others, it will be a revelation. You need to try this!
